more about me
ππ½ββοΈ personally
The oldest sister (out of three 'chamacos'). We're a super close, witty, and creative family. My biggest inspiration is my mom (the coolest graphic designer of them all). She started her career with 'by-hand' designing, but embraced the digital shift by befriending professors and software engineers to learn computer design and even early web development β she designed the first website for Larousse Mexico! Her example taught me about working smart and using technology as a tool, not a threat.
Inspired by her, I was tinkering with Photoshop and Illustrator by age 12. When Canva came out, for example, her reaction wasn't fear, but excitement: 'Oh myyyyy, so cool, will make my job so much easier!' That's the mindset she passed down, and it's how I see tools like (cough, cough, Firebase Studio which I used to build this page): not replacing developers, but making life easier, empowering creation, and lowering barriers for people like me diving in (with effort still needed!).
π©π½βπ» professionally
I'm an ML Engineer with a background in Math & Data Science. Currently, I work in Google Cloud Consulting, where I support customers building innovative AI/ML projects. Previously, I had the pleasure of working with a great team (of Software Engineers) building a large enterprise's ML Platform (using Google Cloud tools like Vertex AI, Kubeflow, Cloud Run, Artifact Registry, BigQuery, Dataform, and so on). My specific focus is MLOps β creating these standards and robust platforms for effective ML development and deployment.
π©π½βππ passions and interests
I absolutely love reading and learning. My mind often spins up wacky ideas, usually thinking about the human experience and how technology could make things more interesting or solve little daily quirks. Lately, my biggest passion is shifting from just thinking up these ideas to actually creating them, tooooo.
